How Does the Course Work? \u2013 Structure, Roles, and Support <\/b><\/h2>\n

Information for Participants, Rotary Clubs, and Team Leaders<\/b><\/h3>\n

The ET4Care-Ukraine continuing education program is based on a digital learning environment supported by local partners and made possible by international funding. This document describes the organizational process from three perspectives: Participants<\/b><\/span>, local Rotary clubs<\/b><\/span> , and team leaders<\/b><\/span>. <\/p>\n

1. From the participants’ perspective<\/b><\/h2>\n

This continuing education program is designed for healthcare professionals, therapists, and other stakeholders in the field of wound care. The goal is to impart practical, evidence-based knowledge and to help participants apply it through telemedicine support. <\/p>\n

Access & Getting Started<\/b><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Login is done using a personal access code<\/b><\/span>, which participants will receive from their team leader on site.<\/li>\n
  • The course content is hosted on a separate Moodle platform<\/b><\/span> .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Language & Clarity<\/b><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • All training videos are produced in English<\/b><\/span> .<\/li>\n
    • In Moodle, you can subtitles in various languages<\/b><\/span> (e.g., Ukrainian, German, English).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Course Structure<\/b><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • The training program consists of two parts<\/b>:\n
          \n
        • Modules 1\u201310<\/b>, followed by a midterm exam<\/b> \u2192 Interim Certificate<\/li>\n
        • Modules 11\u201317<\/b> with a<\/b> final exam<\/b> \u2192 Certificate of Completion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • The entire training program should be completed within three months<\/b><\/span> .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Telemedical Support<\/b><\/h4>\n
            \n
          • During a course session, there are three scheduled supervision sessions<\/b><\/span> via video conference (one session per month).<\/li>\n
          • Experts answer questions, provide guidance on practical implementation, and offer support during case discussions.<\/li>\n
          • The goal is to ensure that the knowledge gained translates into practical skills<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            2. From the perspective of the local coordinating Rotary clubs<\/b><\/h2>\n

            Local Rotary clubs serve as the organizational link between:<\/p>\n

              \n
            • medical facilities,<\/li>\n
            • the on-site team leaders and<\/li>\n
            • the German partner club (Rotary Club Witten-Hohenstein)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              there.<\/p>\n

              Responsibilities of Rotary Clubs<\/b><\/h4>\n
                \n
              • Selection and Support of Team Leaders<\/li>\n
              • Support for participating institutions with organizational matters<\/li>\n
              • Coordination with the project sponsor, RC Witten-Hohenstein<\/li>\n
              • Ensuring that access codes, support materials, and supervision appointments are communicated<\/li>\n
              • Promoting the flow of information among all stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Financing & Infrastructure<\/b><\/h4>\n

                Participation is completely free of charge<\/b><\/span>, made possible by:<\/p>\n

                  \n
                • the <\/span>Global Grant from Rotary International<\/b>,<\/span><\/li>\n
                • the <\/span>Rotary District 1900<\/b> as well as<\/span><\/li>\n
                • the <\/span>Rotary Club Witten-Hohenstein<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Funding is provided for, among other things:<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • Hosting and Deployment of the Moodle Platform<\/li>\n
                  • System Maintenance and Technical Support<\/li>\n
                  • technical support services<\/li>\n
                  • telemedicine expertise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    3. From the team leaders’ perspective<\/b><\/h2>\n

                    Team leaders serve as the main points of contact on site. They must not be medical staff<\/b><\/span> \u2014 employees from administration, secretarial departments, or other reliable areas can also take on this role. <\/p>\n

                    Responsibilities of Team Leaders<\/b><\/h4>\n
                      \n
                    • Distribution of access codes to participants<\/li>\n
                    • Help with logging in and getting started in the Moodle course<\/li>\n
                    • Organizing Participation in Supervision Sessions<\/li>\n
                    • Contact person for organizational questions<\/li>\n
                    • Communication with the local Rotary Club regarding technical matters<\/li>\n
                    • Overview of the Group’s Learning Progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      Support for Teamleader<\/b><\/h4>\n

                      Team leaders are provided with all the necessary resources:<\/p>\n

                        \n
                      • Onboarding Videos<\/b><\/span> on using the Moodle platform<\/li>\n
                      • Step-by-Step Guides<\/b><\/span> covering all key features<\/li>\n
                      • Technical Support<\/b><\/span> throughout the entire duration of the course<\/li>\n
                      • Hosting and System Maintenance (fully funded for two years)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        This enables even people without a background in IT or medicine to perform this role confidently and competently.<\/p>\n

                        Project Objective<\/b><\/h2>\n

                        Through this training program, we aim to:<\/p>\n

                          \n
                        • the <\/span>quality of wound care<\/b> has been improved,<\/span><\/li>\n
                        • Strengthening the Workforce in the Long Term<\/b>,<\/span><\/li>\n
                        • and <\/span>interprofessional collaboration<\/b> are promoted.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
