Welcome to the ET4Care Translation Section<\/b><\/h2>\n

This system helps you translate medical content consistently and to a high standard.<\/p>\n

You always work within an existing language track<\/b><\/span> and can focus entirely on the translation.<\/p>\n

Log In & Language<\/b><\/h2>\n

After opening the login page, log in using your credentials.<\/p>\n

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it directly using the link provided.<\/p>\n

You can change the interface language at any time\u2014either when you log in or later in the WordPress menu bar at the top.<\/p>\n

Backend Navigation<\/b><\/h2>\n

In the left-hand menu, you’ll find the item “Translations”<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n

This is your main workspace.<\/p>\n

After opening it, you’ll see a list of documents (assets), such as training modules or lessons.<\/p>\n

Working with Assets & Audio Tracks<\/b><\/h2>\n

An asset can contain multiple audio tracks (e.g., German, French, Ukrainian).<\/p>\n

    Open an asset<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Select your language<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Click on <\/span>“Edit”<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    You will now be taken to the editor for that specific audio track.<\/p>\n

    Translate in the Editor<\/b><\/h2>\n

    The editor is organized line by line:<\/p>\n

      The original text (manuscript) is on the left<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Enter your translation on the right<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Each line has a status:<\/p>\n

        OK<\/b><\/span> \u2192 factually correct<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        check<\/b><\/span> \u2192 still needs clarification<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        default<\/b><\/span> \u2192 Not yet rated<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The color-coded labels help you keep track of everything.<\/p>\n

        \u26a0\ufe0f Important: Changes won’t be saved until you click “Save”<\/b><\/span> .<\/p>\n

        The navigation features are especially helpful when reading long texts:<\/p>\n

          Browse page by page<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Jump directly to a cue number<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Go to a specific time point<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          The Glossary\u2014Your Most Important Resource<\/b><\/h2>\n

          The glossary ensures that technical terms are always used consistently.<\/p>\n

            The glossary specifies which spelling is correct<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Common errors are detected automatically<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            When applied to a track, all incorrect variants are replaced<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            This saves time and significantly improves the quality of the translation.<\/p>\n

            Recommended Workflow<\/b><\/h2>\n

              Translate and work through the script cue by cue\u2014or have the admin generate an AI-generated translation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            2. \n

              Check or add any notable terms in the glossary<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            3. \n

              Apply the glossary to the track<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            4. \n

              Set Status<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            5. \n

              Save<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
